and you need to build from there.  So my friend Cheryl came to my rescue, allowing me to swing through her wardrobe to see what I might borrow.  She’s got even more shoes than Nuneaton Market and in every possible colour.   I am currently breaking in about a dozen pairs but I am already wearing her lovely yellow and black spotted ones – these are wonderful as they don’t show the dirt and I don’t have to clean them so often.  So at last I am on track for getting into character.
Stephen Duckham did an interview on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire to promote the auditions that he’s holding on Saturday 31st October for the most important member of the cast – Daisy the Cow.  It seems that they need two people to make her work who have to be happy working very closely with each udder.  Stephen has been working up a little routine involving a lot of hoofing about and lowing in tune.
I am really excited about JACK AND THE BEANSTALK, just a bit nervous about all the things that I need to sort out before it hits the stage.  It’s been really comforting to write a diary as it proves that I am having such a wonderful time and that things are coming together for the big event.
