Hi Folks,
It’s me – DAME DOTTY DIMPLE (Steve Barclay). I’m amazed at the number of comments that I have received from readers following my confessions as to how I survive Christmas – extra fruit in the gin, and increased water intake with additional ice cubes – that I have been persuaded to let you in on my secrets as to how preparations for JACK AND THE BEANSTALK at the Civic Hall in Bedworth are going.
I can’t be there all the time, of course, as I have an extremely busy social life hunting for the next Mr Right. I’ve been a widow for far too long and now that my sons JACK (Sarah Tuson) and SIMPLE SIMON (Andy Pierce) are nearly off my hands – we’ll I do keep leaving the Mega Bus Timetable out in the hope that they’ll get the hint – I thought that it was time that I got out there on the social scene to bring a little joy and happiness to a very rich, very old man who’d like to share his yacht and timeshare with me. Dear BOB BROLLY is practicing so hard for his role as the Voice of the Giant – who’s ever heard of an Irish Giant! MATT FORD continues to warble in the bath and SARAH TUSON is deciding on the colour of her tights as JACK, and sweet SARAH DUCE is spreading joy and happiness with her magic wand.
